About the Director

Growing up in the cultural epicenter of Rome, Emanuele Daga developed a fascination with people watching. As a teenager, he often documented the bustling chaos of the eternal city through pictures and micro-documentaries. Intent on turning his love for anthropology into a lifelong career, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Cinema Studies in Italy and then moved to Los Angeles to complete an MFA in Directing at the American Film Institute. Through his vision as a film director, he aims to dig deep into the human condition and highlight the importance of empathy, self-acceptance, and vulnerability. Prior to commencing his debut feature, he cut his teeth with 10 short-films, of which some ended up on TV and won international awards. With an entertaining and lighthearted approach, Emanuele’s work reminds us to honor life and to always lead with love.
